It was later announced that two former executive producers had stepped down and were replaced by Tamsin Dodgson, who was promoted last series, and Anna Meadows and Jess Thomas. Trevor Boris, who had been the challenge producer for Big Brother Canada was also added as a senior producer. On 25th March, British newspaper; The Daily Star reported that the Big Brother producers are planning to strip the show back to it's roots, similar to what it was during it's first series as a basic social experiment.
On August 5th, various Big Brother fan sites and superfans were invited to Borehamwood to a short discussion with producers to understand where the new team is taking the show for the upcoming celebrity and civilian series.
In previous years, the show has violated the first rule of Big Brother"No outside contact. In the recent years, shopping tasks had been shortened to minimal days or eliminated all together in favor of twist taks. This will be reversed and shopping tasks will be back. Returning executive producer Paul Osborne announced that classic nominations would be back.

It has also been noted that we will now know prior to nominations how many nominations one housemate will need in order to be nominated. For the potentially last series, Paul Osbourne stated the they were trying to find "complete unknowns". Tempting phrases such as "Live by the sword, die by the sword" on the backyard wall. The look of the house was designed to give the housemates the constant reminder that they are in a game.

Ahead of the launch, the viewers were able to give one housemate an early advantage in the game by voting in a public vote for their favourite housemate based on just their occupation, age and hometown.Big Brother is the original and unparalleled social experiment.

If the group does well in the tasks they get rewarded with a bigger shopping budget, plus special treats. On the final night of Big Brother the public vote on which house mate Written by Anonymous. When BB was first introduced to the world in the summer ofit seemed like a fresh, original, fun concept in my eyes. A good social experiment, shall we say. I was 16 at the time, on holiday in Cornwall with my family and there was something that was at least partially engaging about watching the antics of 'nasty' Nick the banker and warm-hearted scally Craig the builder who'd only entered so he could win the money to pay for a heart operation for the little girl of a friend or something!
And, looking back on it now, I could see that the house was occupied by 'real' people, genuine, real people who were believable and you could buy were really like that probably if you met them in the street. Which is certainly not what it's come to now. In my mind, in one way or the other, things rapidly went downhill from there. The first show was so successful that there had to be a follow-up.
The emphasis on voyeurism and adult content began around here, and everyone could see this as a really see-through attempt to pander to people's baser instincts and win ratings. But I just found a lot of the contestants on the second series to be really annoying and up their own arses and that put me off. I suppose the same could be said for the third series, even though Jade Goody was entertaining in as much as she was genuinely thick, thinking Cambridge was in London and such, and I don't think she was putting on an act but just genuinely, un-self-consciously that much of a show-boat.
I think series four pretty much just came and went that was the big Asian guy, wasn't it? And Jon Tickle? That's not to mention the assault of spin-off shows we've had from it like Celebrity Big Brother or even Teen Big Brother and we all know what went on there.
The people entering aren't genuine, honest and 'real' anymore. They're just making as big an exhibition of themselves as they can in order to get on there in the first place and to make a big enough impression on the public that they will come out as the winners.
No-one that shallow and super-ficial really deserves any of our time or attention, but it's likely that our 'baser instincts' may take us over again and we'll tune in just to pander to them. I could never have been a contestant myself, but by now it's unlikely I'd even know how to make a big enough show-boat of myself to have come out the winner on there anyway.
Besides that, all objectivity in the game has been lost. The winner of the show who gets all the money is superfluous in the eyes of all the other contestants as they know that if they make a big enough impression on the public, they will be famous enough to attend a film premiere or two for a while afterwards and no doubt get paid a fair bit to endorse certain products or services hence why Jade Goody's name still garners recognition three years after losing!
This show has come out, more than anything, as a huge testament to Andy Warhol's unforgettably famous claim that "in the future, everyone will enjoy their 15 minutes of fame", irrespective of how untalented, vulgar or desperate they are. Aside from the contestants, there's the presenter, Davina McCall.Housemate Nikki Grahame would later return to compete as a housemate on Ultimate Big Brotherwhere she became the runner-up of the season.

Derek Brunson Sao Paulo November 4 UFC 217 Michael Bisping vs. McGregor fight Written by Nikhil Sonnad August 26, 2017 We're both gonna be rich anyway. But how much they win or lose depends on the betting odds for the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, which have changed dramatically since they were first recorded. Mayweather has an inhuman 49-0 record in boxing matches, while McGregora mixed martial arts and UFC fighterhas not fought any pure boxing matches professionally.
That imbalance has made Mayweather a massive favorite, but since the fight date was announced in June, the odds have tightened. Those numbers require some explanation of the weird betting odds system used in the United States, called moneylines. So the more negative the moneyline for an outcome, the more likely betting markets think that outcome is. The biggest winners, of course, will be Mayweather and McGregor, who, win or lose, stand to earn hundreds of millions of dollars.

We'll be back soon. Vegas reveals the betting odds Contributed by Jordan Zakarin Sep 6, 2017 Share This Post Shared 2 Comments Once again, Lucasfilm has removed a director from a Star Wars film. After booting Chris Miller and Phil Lord from the Han Solo spinoff this summer, and sidelining Gareth Edwards for big reshoots and edits on last winter's Rogue One, the latest forsaken filmmaker is Colin Trevorrow, who will no longer be at the helm of the untitled Episode IX.
By now we know the drill: Lucasfilm releases a statement (or not, in the case of Edwards), fans speculate as trade reporters scramble for insight, and then a few days later, a new director is named. Now there's a new wrinkle in the process: During that speculating phase, people can put their money where their fan theories are by placing bets on who will fill the biggest job opening in the galaxy.
